AXIOM TRAINING was established in 1992 and is run by Joanna and Martin Bennett. Martin teaches full time and a number of part-time employees also work for the company, providing instruction and examination support. Axiom runs courses for organisations anywhere in the UK and abroad, using the existing facilities of the employing company. The courses are run on a "contract" basis, which allows for the very competitive pricing regime offered.

JOANNA provides administrative support for the Company from the Headquarters in Eardiston. She is a qualified manager and lay First Aid Instructor/Examiner with a sixteen year history of employment in the National Health Service; leaving to work for Axiom Training in 1992. She manages the busy team of Instructors, who deliver training for the company. Joanna also assesses on some of the courses.

MARTIN provides instruction for most of the courses. He first became a First Aider in 1976 whilst working for the Welsh Water Authority. He joined Hereford and Worcester Fire Brigade as a Wholetime Fireman in 1982. Martin left the Fire Brigade in 1992, to establish a training company offering immediate care qualification courses, some of which are in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) 1981 regulations. This is Axiom Training Limited. Axiom Training is now one of the foremost First Aid training providers in the country, doing approximately 4% of all the first aid training in Great Britain. Martin has a BSc Honours Degree in Pre-Hospital Care from the University of Wales, Swansea. Martin also carries out the volunteer role of a Community First Responder, attending over a hundred incidents a year for the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

AXIOM TRAINING provides "Immediate Care Training for Industry and Commerce". We endeavour to provide a complete understanding of the principals and practices of immediate care. We are involved in many aspects of immediate care, which allows us to keep up-to-date with the modern techniques applicable to First Aid. We are affiliated to the British Heart Foundation as "Heartstart Axiom" and run Heartstart and Heartstart Instructor courses.

| FIRST AID is based on sound knowledge and training. We concentrate on the practical, modern methods of casualty care. The syllabus is designed to enable the First Aider to cope successfully with the real life stressful situation an individual may find themselves in. Our primary objective is to ensure that when people have finished their course, they are a thoroughly competent First Aider. |
